Polyethylene (PE) coating is a high-performance protective coating system applied to the outer surface of steel pipes. It typically uses a three-layer structure: an inner epoxy (FBE) layer, a middle adhesive copolymer layer, and an outer high-density polyethylene (HDPE) layer.

Application Process
- 01. Surface Preparation — removal of oxide, dirt and oil from the pipe surface
- 02. Inner Layer — FBE epoxy provides strong adhesion
- 03. Middle Layer — adhesive layer bonding epoxy and outer polyethylene
- 04. Outer Layer — HDPE extrusion or wrap application
- 05. Testing & Quality Control — thickness, adhesion and "holiday" (void) checks
